The First Tee is an internationally recognized youth program that introduces the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. The learning program focuses on nine core values – honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy and judgment.
For many of our participants, The First Tee program will be a new experience. In addition to meeting other young people from different backgrounds, they will be exposed to golf in a fun environment of learning the game, etiquette, and rules of this lifetime social sport.
The Kiwanis Sunrisers organization is the main sponsor of the program working with the Swinomish Golf Links under the First Tee program authorized by The First Tee National Organization. |
